2024 Getting Started with Joint Accreditation Virtual Workshop

Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education™ is hosting its annual Getting Started with Joint Accreditation Workshop on Thursday, March 28, from 10:00-2:00 pm CT. This virtual workshop will provide an overview of the benefits of Joint Accreditation, the application process, eligibility requirements, and Joint Accreditation Criteria. There will also be opportunities for participants to ask any questions they have for Joint Accreditation staff. The workshop is designed primarily for organizations in the initial stages of the application process and organizations that are considering applying for Joint Accreditation. This is also an excellent learning opportunity for new staff, even if your organization is already jointly accredited.

There is a registration fee of $225 per person for the workshop. For more information, including registration details, please click here.

If you have questions about the 2024 Getting Started with Joint Accreditation Virtual Workshop, please email info@jointaccreditation.org.

Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education offers organizations the opportunity to be simultaneously accredited to provide continuing education for athletic trainers, dentists, dietitians, nurses, optometrists, PAs (physician assistants), pharmacists, physicians, psychologists, and social workers through a single, unified application process, fee structure, and set of accreditation standards. Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing EducationTM is the first and only process in the world offering this benefit.

Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education is a collaboration of the

    • Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)
    • Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
    • American Academy of PAs (AAPA)
    • American Dental Association's Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP)
    • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
    • American Psychological Association (APA)
    • Association of Regulatory Boards of Optometry’s Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (ARBO/COPE)
    • Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
    • Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)
    • Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

This innovation promotes interprofessional continuing education (IPCE) that leads to improved health care delivery and better patient outcomes. Plus, jointly accredited providers gain an opportunity to learn from a successful model of interprofessional collaborative practice.
