I am a registered nurse with a diverse background. I have served in multiple clinical and leadership roles throughout her career including oncology, cardiology, OR, pre-op, ENT, plastic surgery, hospice, and professional development. I have also served in academic roles as a clinical instructor and DNP mentor. I have spoken locally, nationally and internationally such topics as professional development, nursing quality, wound care, and evidence-based practices. I have authored multiple articles and served as a chapter reviewer for the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Core Curriculum. I co-led a team to develop a Nurse Residency Program for a large healthcare system in Texas. I have a passion for elevating the profession of nursing and fostering others.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children.
