Bio

​Cynthia Crockett is a registered nurse for over 30 + years, with vase experience as a leader, clinician, and educator. She has an extensive background in cardiovascular nursing, has served as adjunct faculty for a school of nursing, and currently is a Nursing Education Specialist at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. 

Cynthia has presented nationally on a variety of nursing professional development topics and has published several articles, including a book chapter in the staff development nursing secrets publication.

 

Practicing in the professional development role since 1999, she has served as a content expert, mentor, and professional practice role model. Cynthia developed the Nurse Residency Program at Mayo Clinic in Arizona in 2003 and has been the Program Director since the beginning of the program.

 

Cynthia is board certified by the American Nurses Credential Center (ANCC) in nursing professional development. She has also served as an E-Learning Community of Practice Advisory Panel Advisory Panel Member for over six years with the American Association of Critical Care Nursing (AACN).

Cynthia has been married to her husband for 30 years and has two beautiful children. Hobbies include scrapbooking, tole painting, and outdoor activities.​
