A doctoral-prepared RN certified in pediatrics (CPN), nursing professional development (NPD-BC), and academic nurse education (CNE) with diverse clinical, management, and education experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings, I have over 15 years of experience working in nursing professional development meeting educational needs for all levels of nursing staff. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service is fundamental to me. Working with new-to-practice nurses via nurse residency programs has been an area of great interest, and I have had the privilege of directing such programs since 2009. Preceptor and mentor development are additional areas of interest in which I have focused my attention.
